we are also looking at starting something where you can sell your ants to locals through our site. would anyone be interested in this? we would only let large suppliers sell them, and they have to show proof they are in the state.

I would be very interested!

Those species are:

Formica pallidedulva
Formica integra
Lasius claviger

great! i can use some of those! i really don't want to deal with fake sellers on the site, so the sellers will have to be certified by us, and have a larger stock of ants to sell(not just one colony). you will have to follow our rules of selling and number of ants.

Sounds reasonable. I can probably help with the creation of both that area and the wiki.

that sounds great! me and devi need all the help we can get!

I'll need a crash course on Wix site editing, though, as I'm not good at it.

we would love to have you sell. we do get a 2% fee for the site. please don't think of this as a burden, everyone, as it will be really difficult for us to even cut it even at first for the website. but we are doing it for the love of ants.

Yes!  Managing a website takes a lot of time and dedication.  Think of it as investing in the ADak website to make it a better place.  Our goal is to make a website easily accessible to all antkeepers, and make it easier for individual sellers to find customers.  If you are interested in selling ants, formicariums, or other ant-related products, please PM me or another ADak team member.  Ants_Dakota, or AntsDakota.  Thanks so much!

Not yet, though we're working on it. We could probably launch right now, but we're waiting for Spring when our sellers will be ready.
