Now, since I have been gifted a colony of Camponotus floridanus and I have a colony of Camponotus socius, I could finally see both queens side by side. Actually, despite being very different in queen sizes, and growth rate, the queens are very similar!

Note: These are not my pictures of Camponotus floridanus! They were taken by Solenopsiskeeper, in the early stages of this colony

I think some people might like to see Veromessor other than V. andrei and V. pergandei, so here's some Veromessor stoddardi from a long while ago.

That veteran must have been in an intense battle with another colony or prey. Wow. Still has those beautiful colors though.
