One of the major problems with antkeeping is a lot of the supplies need to be bought online. Test tubes are arguably the most basic and important part of starting a colony but places don't sell them.

Where can you go to buy test tubes?

Doing my own searching:

Hobby lobby carries 'science kit' things, these cost $3 and have 2 test tubes each but they're smaller than I think would be good.

Michaels sometimes carries test tubes but these are too big, with threaded caps.

Where have you been able to buy them?

Party City carries them. They are expensive. Just buy them on Amazon.

Same, but I'm not asking for myself if that makes sense

Michaels also has some of the huge ones, cigar tubes really, in the Halloween section. These have cork stoppers instead of threaded caps.

Look for any science supply store. I know there is one here in denver where i live and i could go to the store to pick stuff up but its easier and more convenient to just order from them and have it shipped to me.

Regular laboratory test tubes like we all use? None. You'll need to order them online.
