Yeah I know they need lots of water, but I didn't know they would all be dead within hours. It kind of makes me happy.

You really hate those things, huh?

Next time add a water dispenser to lengthen the test. It's not really reliable when they get dizzy before they can even climb the pillar.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.

I initially made the power cable port like you see in the next two pictures, but did not like it taking up space on the floor of the cabinets, so I changed it.

I glued a 1/16 inch plastic sheet to the bottom of the cabinet.

Holes drilled. Power cable ran.

This is the port that the power cable will enter through. I just had heat the acrylic tube up with a torch and screw it right into the flange.

Routed a groove for the power cable in the bottom of the wooden floors of the cabinets.

Power cable ran under the wooden floor to the back of the cabinet and electrical outlet installed.

As you can see the ants would have a tough journey up that acrylic tube and across the bottom of the cabinet, once everything is coated in Fluon.

A cleaner cabinet without the remains of the initial mistake I made. I used hot melt glue to seal the tube.

Finished!

Let's hope this works.
