Thoughts on Eco Earth

So I have some extra Zoo Med Eco Earth from an invertebrate setup, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or thought on using it for dirt and/or natural setups. I'm pretty sure it's just coconut fiber. It's supposed to be great for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, and I'm sure I could also throw in some isopods and springtails to help decompose.

I love the stuff. I even used it for a couple vivarium-style setups for various ant colonies. It holds water pretty well, and the ants' tunnels hold form. The only downside is it does shrink when dryer, so make sure it stays moist.

Coco fiber is great for cryptics and high humidity species, like ponerines. Many people have great success with stuff like strumigenys or odontomachus with coco fiber at the bottom of the test tube.
