Thanks! I have been told that she is actually C. missouriensis. That's an old pic, and she now has a pupa and a few larvae.

Here's a pic of the Pogonomyrmex. Now at 5 workers, 10 eggs, 1 pupa and 3 larvae.

Camponotus nearcticus (black): 

 

 

They have 32 workers, including 2 majors and enough brood to bring them to 50 workers. New eggs have been laid, as you can see, and I'm not sure if I'm hibernating these this year.

At 3 workers and 4 eggs. Hibernation situation same as black nearcticus.

The C. Nectarus repleat's gastors are huge! *sorry if I spelled it incorrectly, I haven't really looked into them as much as Camponotous Pennsylvanicus

I love Camponotous subbarbatus, they are really beautiful and grow slightly faster than camponotous Pennsylvanicus! Really cool species!

This a pic of the black Camponotus nearcticus colony from August. They've grown a ton! Never boosted them, and I am proud of how well my first successful nearcticus queen has done:

C. subbarbatus are amazing. They are even polygynous! Most myrmentoma subgenus Camponotus are actually. So even Camponotus nearcticus. Next year, when flights start, I plan on putting 3 together.
