I third Colobopsis.


Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

Uh, yeah sure. My C. subbarbatus was moved to my Main Ant Journal, in my signature. The queen ended up dying for un-known reasons, though. But yes, I will try to make a video on C. subbarbatus next week, as I'm visiting family in WA tomorrow and won't be back until the 7th.

I’m hoping for more Pheidole flights tonight after the rain we had. I’m also starting up my mostly futile, yearly quest for Formica queens.

When do formica fly?

Ok, thanks! I have never seen a queen in my area before, but they are pretty dominant in my area.

Sure there doing a flight in my backyard and I’m sure I can go out at night and catch a few.

-I’ll stick them in a bag, wait for them to shed wings, the ones that shed wings I will put in test tubes, and the ones that lay eggs I’ll keep.

I found a Pseudomyrmex pallidus queen, Crematogaster cersi, and another queen which I don’t know😂 (I don’t have any of them as I’m in NC currently😋 and I’m not keeping them)
