That sucks man.
Damn ants just didn't care for it... ![]()
I will temporarily discontinue this, just until I can get more fungus. The next time this is updated is either when I get more fungus, or when queens start dying.
Is your best bet to wait till next years nuptial flights?

Probably, I am planning to camp out there, leaving on the day that a thunderstorm seems to be leaving, hopefully I can catch them flying like Drew did, and maybe catch a few other species, like Pheidole and Camponotus fragilis, and Dorymyrmex bicolor.
I already came to accept the fact these were done for, because originally, getting fungus from Drew was just talk, so I thought they were done for such a longer time ago, I am glad I had this opportunity to see them with fungus in person, and if I can't get more fungus, maybe next year. ![]()
A queen died today.
Three more to go.
Yeah, but I may be getting more.
Keep the queens alive.
Another queen died today, two more. ![]()
It seems that fungus is essential.
Really? What do you think the fuss is about?
the fungus.
Exactly. ![]()
Alright, now I'm confused on the question which i have just responded to...
The problem is that they do not have the fungus. ![]()
Do you plan on getting that to them as soon as its available ? in this kind of dire situation i don't think you can afford to wait any longer.
No I cannot, I am getting a care package from Drew. ![]()
