So this is the beginning of my Camponotus Journal. I will try to give as much feedback as I can about the queen. I caught this queen on Valentines day around 5pm, I wasn't really looking but I noticed something large crawl under a stone. I flipped over the stone and to my surprise she was a queen. I have to say it wasn't easy catching her, she's really fast and huge too. She's been in a test tube now for about 4 days and has laid 3 eggs so far. Her eggs are a strange light pink/ peach colour which is pretty interesting.

I don't think those are native to where I'm living, but I think it may be a sub-species of some sort
