I’m making this journal as a way to document my experiences with Camponotus for here on out to make sure I don’t repeat mistakes, and so I can also help others avoid mistakes I’ve made.(I believe experience can’t be learned but no one wants their colonies/queens to die however my point stands)

Ok it’s been a while since I’ve messaged here I have an Orceatus colony about 3 months ago they were at their peek with about 10 workers lots of brood, they dropped off hard going to 3 workers and the queen hadn’t laid at all in that time, recently the queen came out of nowhere and shat out like 30 eggs in about a 4-6 days, and the workers seem stronger, I’ll continue to update, additionally I have a Vicinus Colony which has accepted two large meals in the span of two days, and the queen has laid 2 new eggs signaling a new batch coming on, fed the colony a large drop of nectar and it was all gone in an hour so I’m happy.
