What is your policy if the ants die during shipping?

I will either replace or refund upon photo proof

I’m also interested in your P. Rugosus. Could you send some more pictures of the cheaper one?

It's only one colony. You can either get it with a formicarium, or in a test tube.

I don't normally do reservations, but if I do, I'm only waiting 2 days for the person to respond, and then I'm selling to someone else.

My son is interested in the Camponotus laevigatus. Is there anything we should know ahead of time? If we got it in a test tube, at what point should we expect to need to move it into a formicarium and feeding the colony? It is my understanding that Camponotus are slower to develop due to their size. So should we expect to need to move and/or feed the colony in the near future, or in a few months, or longer? If we go on vacation next month, should we expect to take it with us to care for it, or will it be safe if left behind? Thanks in advance!

I’m not the person you were talking to, but I don’t think there is anything difficult or unexpected about them. From what I’ve heard, they are easy to keep. They are slower developing and they take about a month from egg to worker. You won’t need to feed them until they get workers.

It’s camponotus, they are a wide spread beginner genus that is typically one of the first ants you will get.

If you buy 2-6 they are 12 each, 7-14 for 11 each and so on. So they are cheaper the more you buy
