Is this how you set up the formicarium that the ants come with:

<Edit because the picture does not seem to upload.  Basically, two plastic boxes.  The one with sand and an internal area on top, with connection to empty box below and test tube to the side.  Water sponges in the top box below the little plugs that can be removed to insert drops of water to re-wet sponge.>

Sorry, I usually make sure the buyer is familiar with my formicariums or I explain how they work. I guess I must have missed this one. Glad you figured it out. Most important thing is to make sure the hydration tile in the center remains wet.

So wish ants here in South Dakota disappeared that quickly!!!

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

Hello, I am interested in buying the following ant queen/colony-- Myrmecocystus mimicus (red and black with yellow-gaster queen variety) [217]

Size: Small-Medium
Stinging: No
Hibernation required: No
Experience level: Advanced
1 queen, 1-10 workers (comes in test tube) - $60 (available early October) (shipping available) (transfer required)

I am located in Culver City, very close to Los Angeles. I can meet you and buy them in person, or I can pay for shipping and you can send them to me. Please let me know the best way to proceed. I am eager to get started. Thank you for your time!

I've ordered several colonies in many years from Andrew and always with every order a very professional experience! Always shipped with packages very secure for postal handling and never have I had any issues with ants arriving D.O.A. I'm a recruing customer that highly recommends him as one of the best and honest sellers in our anting community. Thanks again Drew!

Does he update the first page of the forum or the current page
