1. Location of collection:  San Jacinto Mountains, Lake Hemet, California.
2. Date of collection:  3-8-2014.
3. Habitat of collection:  Chaparral/Pine Forest.
4. Length (from head to gaster):  Variable (3.5mm to 4.5 mm).
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:  Dark red head, orangish-red thorax, black gaster, and short white hairs.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: 
7. Anything else distinctive: 
8. Nest description:  Hole hidden in bushes and leaf litter.
