I caught 3 queens last week and put them together. 1 queen was killed just yesterday and they have a nice pile of eggs.

I found mine on a mid 80s temperature day on my blacklight. All of them swarmed the light, and I had at least 60 alates near it at a time.

What environment/area/time/conditions did you find them in?
I find them flying even now right after sunset. They don't seem particularly picky about weather or temperature as long as it isn't bone dry. The major flights I have found were on the sides of roads pretty much everywhere I walked. I found a dealate as far as under a log deep within a forest. They are very widespread ants and shouldn't be hard to find at all during flights.
Are they night fliers?
Mostly just right after the sun goes down. You can black light for them and catch tons.
How long does it take for workers to come
About a month.
