Creepy flashback. Looking at the resolution of this ants compound eye. My son and I had an immobilised ant on a slide looking at it through the microscope. I switched it to 450x zoom and when I focused it in it was centred directly on this live ant's eye. It was horrifying! The hate! The malice! Freaked my boy out too. We vowed never to do that again.
