You're going to have to be more specific.

Could I use the starter formicarium for Acromyrmex Versicolor?

If you're talking about my start formicarium, no. I have some that are designed for Acromyrmex though. They have a larger hydration tile.

I might buy a "Dirt Box" this summer, they look really nice!
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many cool ants right were you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that are not found in your area.
Here's the contest I'm planning over in The AntsCanada Ant Forum's:https://forum.antsca...php?f=6&t=26831

I'm not making any Dirt Box nests at the moment. I started slightly redesigning a few of the features, but then got too busy with other things. I'll eventually continue making them. Right now all I have are used ones I am willing to sell.

Okay, it will probably be sometime in July anyway.

Ok I was asking because I was looking to get your seed mix for my Pogonomyrmex but needed to meet the minimum. I would still be interested if you had a large used one as I'm looking to get some Myrmecocystus soon and want a good home for them.

I'd recommend THA products for Myrmecocystus, but I think dirt boxes would be fine, as it is their natural environment.
Interested buying in ants? Feel free to check out my shop!
Feel free to read my journals, like this one.

That was my thoughts about it, plus I always lean torwards naturalistic but I'm deviating too much so ill create a separate thread somewhere about it

I can tell you Myrmecocystus do great in these nests. The only thing is it's hard to see them of course. I would really only recommend Dirt Boxes if you are specifically wanting to watch the ants dig their own nest.

I appreciate the input, still in the gathering materials/nest phase so I have some time.
