Small'ish queen - Sydney, Australia - 6th April 2018

1. Location of collection - my backyard
2. Date of collection - 6th April 2018
3. Habitat of collection - backyard, under a brick
4. Length 5-6mm
 
Found her under a brick in my backyard.
At first I thought Pheidole queen, she has that similar look and colours. Reddish/brown etc
But she is smaller than the Pheidole queen I have in a test tube next to her in the rack.

Looks like Pheidole . Maybe a different species.
