I'm super positive that these are Solenopsis Geminata. And I'm definetly positive that they are fire ant queens. They are sortve bright red, with yellow lines on their gasters. I assume that it is nuptial flight season for them, because I found two roaming around.

Like T.C. Stated, But If You're From South-East Asia; Then Yeah, They're Flying As We Speak.

Also, S. Geminata Colors Vary, As Such You Can't Base It Entirely On Their Appearance; But I Agree This Might Be The Exception, Just Need To Confirm It With The Measurements Which You Have To Provide Us With.

 

EDIT: Changed My Mind, S. Xyloni Seems More Likely Instead.

These were found at a park in Nevada. Hope this helps, and thanks for the information Phoenix.

they aren't S. Invicta


Definitely not S. geminata then. S. xyloni?

yeah, I think that they are S. Xyloni. the picture looks exactly like mine
