My first post in a while, and it isn't about ants...

 

Anyways, I encountered these wasps here and located a few nests but I'm unsure of the species, can anyone help me ID?

Location: Malaysia

Size: 1-1.5 cm (around 0.3-0.5 inches)

These ones here are lighter in color, could be a different species.
