Black crazy ants mainly reproduce by budding and not lone queens, meaning you will probably have to collect a colony.

Why is it that there are black crazy ants in California but no one seems to keep or sell them?

Probably because they are invasive and escape artists. Plus, they inbreed.

Literally Argentines but more erratic and slightly different in build.
