Hello all,

I'm interested to buy a small colony (queen and 5-30 workers) from any Pogonomyrmex.

I'm in Germany so there is a express international shipment needed.

Someone have experience and can handle this?

Best

You can not legally ship ants across country borders without a specific permit, but if I'm correct Messor live where you are in Germany, and they are basically the same thing as Pogonomyrmex.

Thank you! Yeah the offers are limited here in the EU.

I want the Pogonomyrmex because they are bigger and more aggressive them Messor ;-)

So - it is not possible to get this because of the law from US?

i mean all the pogonomyrmex sold in europe come from the US, however very few people supply them to Europe.

why not just buy from a European shop like the ones i sent? Its a lot easier than buying one straight from the US, and possibly cheaper.

I haven’t heard of or met anyone with permits to ship to Europe, but I wish you luck finding someone.
