Hello! Today whilst I was foraging the woods, I found this queen. Obviously due to the title it's not an ant queen, rather a wasp queen. Someone identified it as Dolichovespula arenaria, supposedly a hard-to-keep species. Oh well. I'll try my best non-the-less. I'm assuming I disrupted her hibernation, so I'll start it asap. You can see in the photos below that she enclosed herself like a Camponotus queen lol (I sent these photos to my friend with a fear of wasps due to allergies, rest assured he's fine... maybe):
