Thank you for fast reply.
Agreed. Welcome to the forum! I am Croatian American, and I also keep Crematogaster.Crematogaster scutellaris. Fully claustral and fast growing species that is very popular in the european antkeeping community.
Welcome!
Thank you guys. These days I am going to make a formicarium setup to have it ready.
One question guys.. when is good time to introduce queen to formicaruim?
You can keep a queen in her test tube up until ten or so workers, when it is usually too hard to feed them without workers escaping. At that point, you can put their tube into an outworld or move them into a small formicarium. You shouldn't move them into a larger formicarium until they have enough workers to fill a good portion of it.

TestSubjectOne's Experiences in Antkeeping General Journal
Currently Keeping:
- Veromessor pergandei (1 queen, 600 workers)
- Novomessor cockerelli (1 queen, 200 workers)
- Myrmecocystus mexicanus (1 queen, 100 workers)
- Brachymyrmex patagonicus (3 queens?, 2,000 workers? & alates)
- Crematogaster sp. (1 queen, 600 workers)
- Liometopum occidentale (1 queen, 800 workers)
- Camponotus absqualator (1 queen, 130 workers)
Crematogaster should grow very fast, and they are not picky about their housing. Keep your colony in a tube placed in an outworld until they get to about 100 workers. They would be fine if you move them into something sooner, but there is no need. The key to success with them is lots of food and lots of foraging space; the nest is a non-issue really. One question guys.. when is good time to introduce queen to formicaruim?
