You could go look for some workers out side and find out when that species flies then catch them. I would recommend This over buying.

Very hard for where i live , i pnly get pavement ants which are too small

Formica are flying around now, and are quite large. However, if you really want large ants, camponotus is your best bet.

Sometimes when you want something you have to work for it, such as going on a hike or somewhere else. Also, there could definitely be a lot more species very close that you haven’t found yet.
