Here's some pics:

Crematogaster, she's actually quite small, only about 5mm long. She still has her wings so this might be the reason she keeps eating her eggs.

Anochetus, I didn't want to disturb her so I only took a pic of her setup :lol: (looks VERY different from what it used to look like tho...)

Camponotus irritans, if you look closely, you can still see some mites on them :( . And I gave them an out world.

Crematogaster seem to be a species in the borneensis group. Monomorium is defo M. monomorium
Oh and my queen had wings too so don't lose hope!

Currently kept ant species, favorites have a star in front of their names (NOT in alphabetical order, also may be outdated sometimes): ★ Camponotus irritans inferior, ★ Ooceraea biroi, Pheidole parva, ★ Nylanderia sp., ★ Paraparatrechina tapinomoides, Platythyrea sp., Anochetus sp., Colobopsis sp. (cylindrica group), ★ Crematogaster ferrarii, Polyrhachis (Myrma) cf. pruinosa, Polyrhachis (Cyrtomyrma) laevissima, Tapinoma sp. (formerly Zatapinoma)

Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.

Anochetus has one pupa! Also here's something about my Pheidole parva colony, they had nuptial flights almost everyday (only males though, I haven't seen female alates yet).

Anochetus has one pupa! Also here's something about my Pheidole parva colony, they had nuptial flights almost everyday (only males though, I haven't seen female alates yet).

Dude that's damn fast. I want anochetus now >: ( but now that EMCO is over I'm gonna go hunt for a black crazy ant colony :)

Honestly, Anochetus is one of the fastest growing Ponerines I've ever seen.

Most of the eggs of the Anochetus queen hatched, she currently has two eggs she (probably) recently laid, six larvae (three of them should pupate anytime soon), and one pupa (should eclose next week). 

 

And most of the mites are gone from the C. parius and C. irritans colony.

I believe I saw two or even three pupae in the Anochetus queen's test tube.

 

Edit: four pupae have been confirmed.

I checked the other queens last night and not much has happened but here's everything I can tell you: Nothing happened with both Crematogaster queens and the Meranoplus queen ( I am suspecting that all these queens are infertile), Monomorium already has mature larvae, she should have a worker next week.

 

Anochetus hasn't had a worker yet, but I think I saw a third egg in there. ( I will edit this post if it has been confirmed)

 

Edit: Sorry for taking so long. There are actually a lot more eggs in there than I expected (5-7 eggs, possibly more or less). And another larva pupated so in total five pupae.

Not much of an update but Anochetus now has 5 eggs, 3 larvae and 7 pupae (still no worker, this is going longer than I expected).

Monomorium queen update: she has (at least) one pupa. Btw, I check her every Friday.

Unfortunately, the C. parius colony managed to pull open the cotton and escaped, the good news is that only workers escaped but the colony still lost a lot of workers. (too many to recapture)
