I caught a lot of termites yesterday (in fact I found some alates with the workers), but I didn't know wether to boil, freeze, or do something else if I were to feed them to my ants. What should I do?

I usually just freeze them first. Being so delicate, I don’t know how they’d hold up to boiling.

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25

Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

When you freeze termites they shrivel up, and when you put them in water they go back to normal shape and size. I like to boil them right before feeding to defrost them and kill any mites still living on the termites.

So I should freeze them and then boil them before I feed them?

That would work.
