Vendayn’s actions are not really justifiable in any way. Even if he was triggered by one of us saying something to him, his reactions were completely out of proportion and unnecessary. Imo it’s not really any specific member’s fault.

He has always been more than a little unstable. I do not think it was any one person that sent him around the bend.

Yep. Overreactions have been pretty common in his case.
I really think it's better to let this go, however. Continuing to talk about it just enlarges Vendayn's effects. It's threads like these that continue degrading the forum.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Dang. I feel really bad for being the cause for Vendayn to post this. I did not realize that selling argentines within state lines and not promoting to release them was so bad.
holy moly all of that over a post about argentine ants??? LOLOLOLOL!!
