Hi, looking for queens with brood of Pogonomyrmex. I'll pay shipping or do local pickup if you are in Bay Area (around Sunnyale/Cupertino)

(Only looking for queens without workers)

*and yes I'm posting a lot of looking for ads, but no one really has the ants I'm looking for most of the time, so i assure you i am not purchasing 21838 ant colonies :)*

If that’s the case you should buy two or three queens just to be safe.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a colony that already has workers instead of 2-3 queens that may or may not get workers?

True, but the main reason I'm getting single queens is because I want to "found" the colony. In my ~2 years of ant keeping I've only caught and founded one colony (all the others I've purchased as colonies with workers lol)
