Hi everyone,

My tetramorium queen has stopped laying eggs and the ants aren't eating so the larva has stopped developing. I asked you guys what I should do and some of you said to hibernate her and some say something is wrong. idk what to do at this point. I think I'm going to try to hibernate her before making any conclusions. What are your thoughts? Is this a bad idea? What do I do with her if hibernation doesn't work?

Where you collected her, does it get cold enough to be hibernated?  If so, do it.  If not, don't.

If you're starting to go into Winter right now, most ants will slow down production.

You could also not be feeding enough to encourage production.

I live in california so it doesn't get very cold. And we have started going into fall. Also it's not that I haven't been feeding enough it's the ants won't come out of the nest to eat

They are definitely getting ready for hibernation. Put them in a fridge or a cold room for a few months and they should start acting normal again.

1) Hibernate this colony
2) Make plans to find or purchase a better queen next year.
