New to ants keeping looking for recommendation of magnifying glass (for small ants like Pheidole). Any favorites ones 2 to 4 times enlarge enough? Also what's good portable vaccum to clean up outworld (one that is ant-safe).
I would get a glass WIDE (maybe rectangular) magnifying lens. I've found that being able to watch with both eyes, not just one, is a more pleasant experience. There are some on Amazon.
The other day I used a macro lens and my phone just for observing, and that worked well, too (and that's when I found mites... ugh).
