Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Good question...I would probably save it

I would introduce highlytze and Ender_Antz and get some popcorn and give drew the rest for compensation
There is a important time for everything, important place for everyone, an important person for everybody, and an important ant for each and every ant keeper and myrmecologist alike

Ender_Antz is not a user. I believe the person you are referring to is Enderz.

my mistake
but yeah, you get the idea
There is a important time for everything, important place for everyone, an important person for everybody, and an important ant for each and every ant keeper and myrmecologist alike
I'd buy a bunch of insect collecting materials from Bioquip.
Currently Keeping:
Camponotus chromaiodes, Camponotus nearcticus, Stigmatomma pallipes, Strumigenys brevisetosa, Strumigenys clypeata, Strumigenys louisianae, Strumigenys membranifera, Strumigenys reflexa, Strumigenys rostrata
More seriously, I might invest it. Something tells me that Gerber, Procter & Gamble, and a few others will experience significant stock increases 9 months from now.
Ooh, smart.

I would put half in the bank, and then probably go formicarium shopping or getting gifts to family members.
Currently Keeping:
Pogonomyrmex Californicus Bicolor & Concolor
Pogonomyrmex Subnitidius
Camponotus Sansabeanus
On a more serious note as well I would also invest it (I already have 1k in silver, might as well double it...)

yeah

Probably years worth.
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8
