Hello everyone, dear experts!

Recently, I had two queens of Myrmecia Pyriformis and Myrmecia Forficata.

I ask to respond those who had experience in the maintenance of such species of ants.

What humidity should be kept in the nest? What temperature is recommended? What are the features in their keeping?

Is it normal that after relocation to formicarium, the queens behave very carefully and fussily?

Their nests are covered with red tape to protect them from light.
They hardly touch protein food, they eat only honey.
One queen already has 5 eggs(pyriformis), the other(forficata), which is more fussy, has no eggs yet.

If you need photos, I can make them. Call out please.

Wow your girls are beautiful my friend. Where did you purchase your formicarium and outworld?

Thank you bro! I made this formicarium with my friend manually, and a lot of keepers in Russia acquire formicariums with decor from our shop. http://myants.pro

Do you have myrmecia too?

Unfortunately, in the US we can't import those species legally so I can only admire from afar. But I will gladly follow your posts and any updates you have for your queens. ☺
