I figured out how to share the video I made of this strange event. The queen has been healthy, laying lots of eggs. I'm a little worried about her. Have any of you ever seen something like this?

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.
I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

It was like pee? But if I peed that much I'd call a doctor. I think the video is fixed.

It's probably a trophic egg that she forgot to put a membrane on. It might even be a new discovery! It was like pee? But if I peed that much I'd call a doctor. I think the video is fixed.
I'm such a worry wort about my ants I was watching her like a hawk to see if she'd lay again... and she did take about a 24 hour break after the fluid... but she just started up again! THANK GOD.
This colony has been doing so well and maybe she needed a break. She's been laying about 5-12 eggs a day for a week! Often see her laying. I want to get it in HD with good lighting, but I'm giving them a break from being under observation with bright lights for a few days.
It's still odd how the workers were so excited by the fluid... but they will leave that egg hanging on her bum for a few minutes before noticing it and putting it in the pile. You can see them goofing off in this photo.
