Hi, I am new to this forum, but mentally attached with Formica colonies since many many years. I'll share my photo's and findings with you.

These two ants are a little confused, because they thought spring has already  begun. That white stuff... is snow.

I bet New Yorkers are sick of that white stuff by now. They've been hit by snow storms few times in this winter already.
