Formica spp? Rocky Mountains Colorado

Title:
1. Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, near Nederland
2. Today's date 6/14/18
 
Body:
1. Location of collection: Under a decaying log, there was a large grouping of majors

2. Date of collection (more important for ID's of queens). 6/14/18
3. Habitat of collection Mountain forest
4. Length they range from 10mm to 14mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture : all black with red legs and shiny gaster almost like there is a flat black or a clear portion of the gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics redish legs and the bigger queens have some impressive mandibles
7. Anything else distinctive lots of them grouped together, i ended up with 25 of them but there was at least double that
8. Nest description, under rocks and in some dead trees i could see lots of different ants

9. Nuptial flight time and date possibly the night before,

Those look like Camponotus sp. to me.
