Caught a queen in late July, and she now has some pupae. I caught another queen and it had some pupae, but she died so I gave the pupae to the older queen. She now has 4 nanitics with more coming. Unfortunately, they forgot to help one of their siblings eclose so I had to do it for them, but the lottle ant's exoskeleton had already hardened😯

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.

Oh man, forgot about this. The workers died off one by one and eventually the queen died too, I can never manage to get these ants past the "first nanitics" stage," something(for me) always seems to go wrong. I'll try to restart this in a few months when the queens start flying again.
