Hey guys, I'm a new ant keeper and I've decided to try and raise a Winter Ant (Prenolepis imparis) colony from a queen. Unfortunately, as I've decided on it a little to late, I've missed their nuptial flight season entirely, and my willingness to try this new hobby might wane after waiting so long (7-10 months from this post). So I've decided to try and buy a queen.

Unfortunately, the GAN Project didn't even have a single Prenolepis imparis colony, let alone one in my state. I was then directed here after some searching.

I am looking to buy a Winter Ant colony from someone here. I would prefer that we meet up, as it would reduce costs of shipping and remove some legal gray area, but if it comes to it, I am willing to pay for shipping.

I would prefer a single queen with a few nanitics at most, and none preferably.

If anyone has any offers, feel free to comment here with pictures and offers, and/or PM me.

If you are not interested in workers you should clarify in the title that you are looking to buy a queen and not a colony. Too bad you are not in Pennsylvania, I have 14 colonies for sale all with worker populations ranging between 4 and 10.
