Hi Guys,

So while I outside near my church today i came across this worker ant and its apparent nest in the concrete step of my church. I tried picking it up, by allowing it to walk on my hand and it actually tried to bite me. It does look like a trap jaw any but need verification. Attached File  Large Ant.pdf   154.08KB   65 downloads

The ones in my location have already been having flights for over a month now, and they are still flying. I don't know how much the flight times would differ in Dominica, though.

Okay thanks. This would be an awesome Ant genus to catch. Hopefully one day I can come across a Queen.
