I want specific species colonies. There are some really cool species even this far up north.

I realize that. It's just a wishful thinking.

But imagine how awesome it would be to have a honeypot ant colony in your living room with a huge & beautifully decorated formicarium.

He may not have true honey pot ants, but he does have the false honey ant there.

Prenolepis imparis, the winter ant, is found in his location.

I have a Prenolepis imparis colony right now in its first year. Out of 4 queens of them, only one survived the founding process. I want more next year because it seems like they are in pretty high demand and one of the more coveted species in our area.
