Nearly certain it is C. laevigatus.

Hello, I Am New to this but i think this queen is a Camponotus. Can Someone confirm, and maybe help with the species?

Found burrowed in a fallen tree in one of the canyons surrounding slc,ut. Approx 15mm long. Shiny black.trying to get better pics, but the camera is having trouble. I'll try to upload a better pic tomorrow
