1. Location of collection: 
Deer Island [again i know it's crazy]

2. Date of collection: 
03/11/2017

3. Habitat of collection:
These were on a tree slightly farther down the path from where we collected the other ants that were posted tonight  

4. Length (from head to gaster):
A little over .3 cm

5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:
seemingly all black, with lighter legs 

6. Distinguishing characteristics: 
Particularly small and with a rounder gaster then i've seen on other species (near the thorax)

7. Distinguishing behavior:
None that i've noticed

8. Nest description: 
N/a

I would say Prenolepis imparis as well.
