I'm pretty sure that they don't nest in those plants. They tend to nest in some trees, so you will need a bansai tree growing in a terrarium. Go check out the AC video where Mikey shows you his colony, and check out his setup.

what is bansai tree?any tree recommend?

Calamansi tree and Chico Tree. The ants preferred one over the other, so he replaced the one they didn't like with the same tree as the one they were nesting in.

both of these tree can grow very big....that is the issue...how to contain them？

They need a HUGE terrarium. I feel like they need a $600-$1000 budget to keep these ants.

Vfreedom, if you routinely trim their trees, they can be kept small, allowing you to keep them in a smaller terrarium.

Don't forget to add a barrier so your ant's don't escape. It's not essential for you to have a bonsai tree btw. I think they take up too much space. If you watch Mikey's video you can see how he pulled it off with a few tall plants.
