Why not just ignore them? I'm constantly getting messages from people in China asking me to send them ants. It's easy to ignore people. Sometimes I don't even notice they sent me messages. Are you adding these people as "friends"? I'm assuming it's Facebook you are talking about.

Lol, i know your pain. I posted that i was shedding off my extra queens, and only named 1 species in a Michigan based Ant page on facebook. Somehow i had people from the UK asking for queens, wondering if i would ship them.

I think the west and the southwest has cool species as well. They have ants like Myrmecocystus, Neivamyrmex, Pogonomyrmex, Liometopum and many others. I think the the rest of the U.S. has pretty boring ants. The south is completely overrun with invasives like Pheidole megacephala, Paratrechina longicornis, Solenopsis and argentine ants. I spent a week in Florida and the only native ant I saw was one Pseudomyrmex apache worker. Even then, those ants are still cooler than the ants in the midwest.

Tell them to go take a flying leap. Otherwise just totally ignore them.

Random Question... Ants are OK within the same state right?? It's only if you cross state lines that cause the problem? Please advise.

Correct. As far as I know I think you can take ants across state lines, just not the queens. However don't quote me on that you can take ants that don't have queens across state lines. Either way I know for sure taking ants across state lines is illegal.

Reproductive pest species are illegal to transport. Hence why you can buy ants from the Uncle Milton packs without issue (they're non reproductive workers). The transportation of queens is, however illegal.
