Found pogonomyrmex founding chambers

I was hiking and found a bunch of pogonomyrmex founding chambers (i think they looked like photos of pogonomyrmex founding chambers i found online) and i don't know how much the brood should be developed and whether the best way to catch them is to wait for them to come up or dig them up (i know Pogonomyrmex nests are deep are the founding chambers also deep?

Pogonomyrmex founding chambers actually look pretty much the same as most any other desert ant their size.

oh the reason i think they are pogonomyrmex is because in the ones i found and the pictures both had a sloping tunnel

oh the reason i think they are pogonomyrmex is because in the ones i found and the pictures both had a sloping tunnel
