Hey guys,

I want to preface this by saying I keep fish and have not gotten around to catching a queen or starting a colony yet.  I'm trying to get more information first.

I have freeze dried and frozen bloodworms, pellet and flake foods, algae wafers, and decapsulated brine shrimp eggs that I feed my fish.  Would any of these make acceptable protein sources for ants?  I'm kind of thinking that the brine shrimp eggs should be acceptable at least.

Frozen bloodworms. They're soft, moist, dead insects.

Some ants might eat that stuff if you hydrate it. I know Harvester ants probably would.
