Keep a close eye on things the first couple days with your new setup! Sounds like it should be a good setup but you never really can tell how things will work out until its been in place for awhile.

85 would probably be the best temperature. I don't set anything to 90 degrees here, that's just as cool as that room gets with all the servers running in there. :lol:

yeah mine stay at 80 degrees at night and closer 90-95 during the day and seem to be growing steadily.  I mostly let them do their thing but I added flaked fish food and they seem to like it except its very smelly.

When the fungus gets really white and fuzzy, it is healthy, but it also means the ants aren't adding much substrate to it.
