Hello Everybody

Currently very very new to keeping ants and have only a Lasius Flavus Queen with a few eggs in a test tube setup! other than this!

I'm 27 from england and I'm a chef who loves skateboarding very much!

Before the ant fascination, i used to keep an array of reptiles insects and amphibians, Around about 60 i think. but since moving house and now not having anything i discovered Ants lol

So as a bit of a Diy Freak i tried to research as much as possible into the best ways of keeping a ant colony and so on, so here i am! I'm going to make a post in the other sub forum into what i am trying to make and maybe get a few design ideas.

I Skated for like eight years, but after the age of about 25 I felt like I was going to kill myself every time I got on a skateboard.

Haha I felt like that too. Too many ligament damage! So just longboarding now.

Welcome to the forum!
I used to skate while I was a teen, lost my front tooth trying to do a 360 kick flip, that was dumb LOL.
Back then the board was oversized with a huge concaved tail.

Yea see I'm a lover of fish tail decks. I like to skate thrash and old school styles so is use my hands more than my feet. Big dog town fan. Thanks for the welcomes!

Welcome!  :D

Never really tried skateboarding, with my long winter, it was more practical to learn ice skating.  ;P

By the way, the ant bug bites pretty good, just wait and see.  :D

I meant that the ant hobby is very addicting, but I would be more worried about the stings from species like Pogonomyrmex or Myrmecia (Australia's Bull ant).  :D
