And many Carnivorous plants such as: Dionea muscipula (fly trap), Sarracenia x 'Fiona' ( American Pitcher plant), Nepenthese ventrata (Tropical Pitcher plant), and Pinguicula agnata x emarginata (Butterwort) (show off your plants here)
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8
Dang. The AntsCanada forum has had 806 members in one day. Let's try to beat that.

That would be difficult, as most members of the AntsCanada forum are likely just fans, while we have a much more professional, knowledgeable member base.

One thing for sure is that we always have 550-680 guest users online, why is that?
Currently keeping:
1x Formica subsericea, (used to be polygynous) 15+ workers with 4 pupa (Idk why they still have)
1x Lasius umbratus, (Workers accepted) 5+ workers with host brood
1x Ponera pennsylvanica, just queen
As you watch your ants march, remember: every journey begins with a single step (or queen)-not just towards you, but towards a future woven by diligence and shared dreams - Me
(I lost braincells just to make this quote)

Some of the photos and journal here are uploaded to google, and many people like to view the journals without getting an account.

Hello Everyone;
It's very easy to enjoy this site without having an account. I kept ants and read the posts on this forum for quite a while before getting an account. I finally got one when I posted a question to get a positive ID on the ants I was keeping. We should be pleased to know that the information on this forum is valued by more than just our elite group!
It doesn't hurt to get an account, even if you don't intend to post questions, just so you can tell contributors that you like what they're posting and give them encouragement. You also get to pick a cool name and thumbnail that mean something to you. And, who knows, some day you may want to know what this queen is that you found on your sidewalk......
