Anyone wanna help me out on my Manica Invidia queen? I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, all i know about them is that they are semi-claustral, gigantic, and very red. 😞
Currently keeping
-A. occidentalis
-B. patagonicus
-C. vicinus
-F. neogagates
-L. fuliginosus
-M. invidia
-Stennama spec..
I will want to also keep some other lasius types in the future.

I'm unsure where "gigantic" and Manica invidia are related... Anyways, semi-claustral just means you feed them during founding. After founding, you can just treat them like normal ants - don't over think it or overcomplicate it. I've always just fed them once a week in a test tube setup during founding and they do great. Manica is one of the easiest genera in California.
