The clipped text isn't an answer to the question. However, the clipped text is in general true; Linepithema humile is peaceful to other Linepithema humile.

The most “peaceful” ant I’ve seen (at least peaceful around humans), is Dorymyrmex bureni. They’ll never bite you, instead running around your arm curiously. They don’t have a sting, and won’t attack even if you disturb the nest in my observation.

Ants are small creatures... but together... they can rule the world.

My acorn ants and Acanthomyrmex.

Seriously, I can open up the nest of my Acanthomyrmex and the ants will not come out and attack, they will not even move. They form a tight defensive ball and wait for better times.

If this means ants that do not fight wasteful wars, Dinomyrmex comes to mind.

These girls to not fight huge wars for territory, but have tournament style ritual fights between small groups of rival soldiers. They also do not attack humans, just watch that Youtube video of the guy who is desperate to have a Dinomyrmex bite him. It took him a lot of time and effort and completely stressed out and annoyed the poor ant who just wanted to get away.

If you want to see real aggression against humans, European fire ants (Myrmica rubra) will do the trick- as kids, we were stung often, we were not even disturbing a nest, we were just playing in the grass minding our own business. Myrmica rubra wakes up with the motto "This is Sparta!"

Camponotus pennsylvanicus are much less likely to go hog wild and have a biting party than are my other carpenter ants. Even though they are bigger and if they wanted to be a problem they could. My least peaceful ants are Camponotus nicobarensis. They are very upset when I do anything in their outworld and will try to bite my hand if they can crawl of the tweezers. It's not painful, but it's annoying that they want to try to "get" me. Camponotus pennsylvanicus just run away.

If I need to change their water feeder I can pick up the one in the Camponotus pennsylvanicus nest and give it a little shake and they all jump off and run to hide.

Try that with Camponotus nicobarensis? They run on to your hand and give it little bites. More than anything this makes it harder to work with them without any ants getting hurt.

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.

I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

If that sounds like your kind of thing... follow me >here<

This photo is actually supposed to be of the real most peaceful ant species ( subjectively) Camponotus bellus.
